Paris metro-M4

The Paris metro M4 links Porte de Clignancourt (north) to Porte d'Orléans (south). Porte de Clignancourt is located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris whereas Porte d'Orléans is located in the 14th arrondissement.

To go from the north to the south, it's a 28 minute journey and from the south to the north it's a 29 minute journey.
You have two first departures from the north to the south and also two first departures from the south to the north.
The first departures from the north to the south goes from Porte de Clignancourt and Gare du Nord, the first one at 5:30am (Porte de Clignancourt) the second one at 5:31am (Gare du Nord).
From the south to the north, you have also two circulations, one departure from Porte d'Orléans at 5:30am and one from Montparnasse-Bienvenüe at 5:33am.

Last departures from Porte de Clignancourt and Porte d'Orléans
The last departures of the Paris metro line 4 are at 00:47am from Porte de Clignancourt to Porte d'Orléans and also at 00:47am from Porte d'Orléans to Porte de Clignancourt.
However on friday-saturday night, on saturday-sunday night, as well as on public holidays (between the night before the holiday and the holiday day), the last departures are at 1:47am.

The frequency of the Paris subway depends on the time of the day and the day of the week. Between 7:30am and 8:30pm, you have a metro every 2-3 minutes, before 7:30am the frequency is every 4-5 minutes, after 8:30pm the average time is 6-7 minutes, for the week.
The subway operates with a lower frequency during the week-end, on friday-saturday night, on saturday-sunday night, as well as on public holidays (between the night before the holiday and the holiday day), it can reach 10 minutes.

Places to visit by Paris metro line 4
The station Barbès-Rochecouart allows you to visit the stores Tati, hard discount retailers in the 18th district.
Les halles and Châtelet stations allow you to go to the ''Forum des Halles'' a well-known shopping center.
Cité and Saint-Michel stations allows you to visit the ''Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris''.
If you stop at Odéon, you can visit ''Le Jardin du Luxembourg'' as well as ''Le Palais du Luxembourg''.
At ''Saint-Germain des Prés'' station, you can visit the ''Musée Eugène Delacroix''.
