History and description of the Paris garden "Jardin de Reuilly"

The "Jardin de Reuilly" is the largest Paris Garden of the 12th arrondissement, after the Bois de Vincennes and the Parc de Bercy.
The building ended in 1995, on the former classification yard of Reuilly, located in the district of Reuilly.
Today, the garden has an area of ​​15,200m² and is located in front of the town hall, avenue Daumesnil.

It's halfway on the route of the promenade plantée (on the wooden bridge above the Jardin de Reuilly).

A large semi-circular lawn (4,200m2), slightly hilly, forms the major part of the garden.
Many small theme gardens make it up: ferns, bamboos, roses, rhododendrons, euphorbia, heather ...

You can find also, several trees, a water mirror, a zone reserved for the natural flora, playgrounds for children, as well as 4 statues (3 of them are naked women).
Since september 2010, a fountain with sparkling water as well as tap water is offered freely to the public.

The Jardin de Reuilly is also one of the four greenspace located on the route of the Promenade Plantée, with the square Hector-Malot, the Jardin de la gare de Reuilly and the Square Charles-Péguy).
